I had this image of the little harbour, which I made several years ago, and I always wanted to do something with it. But I felt it needed something more, an extra element. Reprocessing the image, I had decided to add in the montaged figure of the man and then work on the sky to give the image a hint of mystery, and hopefully leading the viewer to wonder why the man is there and what he is waiting for.
